This is simply not true. You want your feet to be secure, but not to the point that you feel they are in a vice.

Start off by buying a long board. Always start out with a cheap board so that you can mess it up without too much fuss.I mean, you are just starting so there is no need to go for the best just yet. Purchasing a long board or a really expensive one isn’t a good idea.

Get frustrated or embarrassed when you fall. Big deal. Do you know how many times professionals like Sean White have fallen? Tons. Everyone falls, it is just something you have to go through if you are going to become really good at any snowboard trick.

Start doing advanced snowboarding tricks too early. Begin with the simple ones. The big ones will come later.
